BROOKE: A Custom Luxe Bride

This week we are sharing photos from Luxe Bride Brooke who wore a one-of-a-kind completely custom Martina Liana gown.

Brooke first visited Simply Luxe in December of 2017. She had a vision of her dream dress but just couldn't find it. She knew she wanted sleeves, something with lace and a little bit of sparkle, and nothing too tight.

We knew what to do.

After trying on different styles and silhouettes, and finding the perfect details (a little from here, a little from there, and so on), it was time to work our magic. We aren't trying to toot our own horns but...toot toot! At Simply Luxe all of our stylists are highly trained in custom design. We frequently host training events and bring in our designers to our stores to teach our stylists exactly what's possible and how it can be done. Our stylists work hands-on with the dresses (playing a little bit of dress up - perk!) so that we know what can be changed on each gown. This way when you ask "can I add a sleeve to this dress?", or "can I remove the beading on this?", we can confidently say YES!

Taking the silhouette of one dress, the sleeves of another, and the lace and neckline of a third, our stylists worked with Brooke to design a one-of-a-kind gown. Don't get us wrong, creating a custom dress can be a bit intimidating when your dream dress requires a little imagination, but with the knowledge of our amazing stylists, and the skills of our designers we KNOW you will fall in love with your dream dress over and over again.

The design process for a custom gown is a little longer than for one out of the collection. Custom designs often take a minimum of 8 months (yes, I said 8). The designer is creating a dress from scratch with a brand new pattern. When we submit your custom gown design, we go over the exact customizations, measurements, photos, and other references with the production team. Our designers hand-bead and hand-place lace, paying extra-close attention to every little detail. That can take some serious time!

But your one-of-a-kind wedding gown is worth waiting for.

Many of our brides opt for some kind of custom addition to their gowns. Our dedication to styling each of our Luxe Brides is a process of creativity and love of design. We take gowns that you may find in stores all over the country and make them a work of art, one that only one bride will ever wear.
