Ashley and Dan were set up on a blind date by their close friend, Aaron. Although they were each in transitional seasons and not looking to add anyone into their lives at that moment, they agreed to the set-up. And, luckily, any preconceived notions were tossed out one minute into the date. In fact, Ashley and Dan fell so hard that even distance, infrequent face time, and study/work dates were the agreeable norm. The exact moment is still unclear, but Ashley and Dan both admit they fell in love in the most perfectly unexpected, unpredictable way.

Dan proposed in Louisville at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships. Ashley loves fall, all things running, and especially Dan - so combining all three made for the perfect proposal. Equally, Dan popped the question on the exact day one year prior that Aaron initiated the set-up via text. Between races, Dan led Ashley to an open, wooded area, where he got down on one knee. Ashley was shocked and barely remembers what Dan said, especially in the midst of cheers from various cross country teams, but she did say "yes."

Ashley worn a stunning off white on ivory lace fit and flare with a touch of sparkle. The gown has circle lace over a stretch satin. The lace is pieced together in unexpected ways, creating a chevron-like print that perfectly flatters every curve. The strapless sweetheart neckline and low V back show off the neck, shoulders, and back. The Starline Factory was the perfect setting for this "it-girl" look. Rose gold accents and blush accessories create a soft and romantic look and finish off the bridal vision.
