Do you require an appointment?

We want you to have the best bridal shopping experience possible, and this means trying on gorgeous gowns in a dedicated space with your own bridal stylist. So we can make this happen for you and your party, we require our brides to book appointments. You can schedule your appointment by calling the store or by requesting an appointment through our website here.

How long is a bridal appointment?

If it's your first visit to Simply Luxe, your appointment will typically be 90 minutes in length. Many of our brides are able to find their dress in around an hour.

If you're revisiting to try on your favorite(s) and make your dress selection, we set aside 60 minutes.

What is the price range of gowns at Simply Luxe?

Wedding gowns typically range between $1500 and $8000.

Most gowns fall between $2500-$5000.

During the year, however, we host sample sale events where we have showroom gowns on offer at reduced prices. Keep an eye on our events page for dates and times.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Before your appointment with us we suggest:

 

We want the moment you find your gown to be filled with excitement and happiness. If you find "the one" but your most important second opinion isn't in attendance, it can be a huge bummer to have to walk away until a later date. It's hard to recreate that moment a second time. Long story short - bring those whose opinions matter most when helping you shop for your wedding dress.

Groups of 2-4 work best. If you plan to bring more, please let us know.

 

Most of our brides find their gowns on their first visit to Simply Luxe. It's true!

 

...and it's OK to say "Yes!" on your first visit to your very first bridal salon.

 

Most of our bridal accessories are customizable and made-to-order in North America. Some accessories can take as long to arrive as your gown. Because of this, we suggest purchasing your accessories at the same time as your gown.

Light makeup is great to help complete the vision, and nude undergarments are best.

When should I order my gown?

Because all of our gowns are made to order, we suggest ordering 9-12 months before your wedding date in order to allow time for your wedding gown to be made, shipped, and altered. 

My wedding is in less than six months -

can I still find my gown at Simply Luxe?

Absolutely! Luxe Brides can always find a great selection of dresses to purchase from our showroom floor. Some designers can accommodate expedited delivery on special orders for an additional fee as well. Make sure to let us know when your event date is when you book and we can discuss any concerns you may have at that time.

Do you have bridesmaid dresses?

Bridesmaid dresses are available to our Luxe Brides only. Bridesmaid appointments are 60 minutes in length and available at our Algonquin location.

Do you do alterations?

We do not have in-house alterations, but we do provide a list of recommended tailors to our Luxe Brides.

Can I bring beverages and food to my appointment?

You are welcome to bring water, white wine, or sparkling wine to your appointment, but other beverages and food must be left outside the salon. During sample sales, no food or beverages are permitted in the salon.

Can you accommodate a large party at my appointment?

We always do our best to accommodate larger groups (over 4 guests), but this is not always possible during all of our available appointment times. Be sure to give us a call if you have any concerns.

What size are your sample gowns?

The majority of the gowns in-store range from a sample size 8 to size 12, with many of our gowns available to order in plus sizes (up to 32W). Exquisite details and exceptional service are not limited by dress size at Simply Luxe and we encourage you to contact us with any concerns about size availability.

What is a Trunk Show?

Simply Luxe carries specially selected gowns from each designer’s collection in store year-round, but trunk shows are special events where an expanded selection of a particular designer’s gowns will be available to try on for a limited time. During some trunk shows, a representative from the designer will be on hand to help style brides and answer any questions they may have, and sometimes there are savings or sales incentives to be had!

 Because trunk shows only last for a short amount of time and appointments book up quickly, we recommend booking your appointment as soon as possible.

Can I bring children with me?

We are not able to accommodate children or strollers in the salon. Please make other arrangements for the little ones. If little ones are in attendance when you arrive for your appointment, we will reschedule for another day.
